Over The Edge is an independent youth travel basketball program based in Chicago and the near north/northwest suburbs. The focus of the program is to prepare grade school boys and girls to play high school basketball. The program is not affiliated with any high school or high school feeder program. Our philosophy is simple: We are Over The Edge “ON FUNDAMENTALS”. We put a heavy emphasis on sound ball-handling, man-to-man defensive skills and transition basketball. The cornerstone of our program is teaching proper shooting and footwork fundamentals. Our coaches have been taught by one of the top shooting instructors in the country – Dick Baumgartner. We believe our shooting instruction is the best in the chicagoland area. There is coaching continuity so that skills taught at the younger levels are reinforced and refined each year, at each level.
